Project Update: TRIAD Ambulatory Surgery Center is Now Complete!Sarah Turnbaugh
In 2020, JBC shared an up-and-coming project on our blog – construction of the new, 4,800 SF Urological Institute of Maryland building, now called the TRIAD Ambulatory Surgery Center. The new building, located on York Road in Timonium, is now finished and fully operational! JBC recently took photos of the completed project, highlighting a few below.
Scope of Work
JBC was contracted to demolish an existing structure and construct a new medical building where the original once stood. Our team was brought on as Construction Manager in 2019 and worked with the design team, Fischer Architecture, to develop plans for a new space that will allow our client to serve the local community as envisioned. The building needed new utilities brought into the building including water, electric, and gas. Inside, there is an operating room, post-op area, recovery space, waiting room, and nursing support spaces. Outside, JBC added a new parking lot and striping.
JBC History of New Construction
For over 15 years, JBC has been managing new construction and building addition projects. The JBC team has worked with MedStar Health, University of Maryland Baltimore, St. Agnes Hospital, the Veterans Administration, and many others, adding square footage to their campuses. Be on the lookout for finished photos of UMB’s new 14,450 SF Central Electric Substation building that JBC is due to complete later this year. We can’t wait to share photos with you!
