JBC was contracted in 2019 by CapEx and Friends of Patterson Park as construction manager for the restoration of the 1868 Superintendent's house. JBC worked with the team through design and value engineering efforts until funding was finalized and final approval from the City was received. JBC made historic preservation efforts throughout construction by keeping the building’s original brick archways and matching the historic slate roof and floors. Updating and expanding this neighborhood staple into a functional and esthetically pleasing space for FoPP and the Baltimore City community is something JBC was excited to be a part of!
