JBC was contracted by L.I.F.E. to fit-out an existing building as a new Adult Daycare Center. The first task was to make the building ADA accessible, most notably with the addition of an elevator. A new vestibule was added, as well as, a two-story entrance. The first floor consisted of multiple patient day rooms, a kitchen, and dining room. The second floor was converted into staff offices. The center holds specialized day programs that focus on increasing the independence of its participants.

Washington Homes contracted JBC to renovate their existing assisted living center. Renovates took place within the communal spaces including the day rooms, dining halls and corridors. Small community kitchens were added throughout the center as well.

After Xavier experienced extensive water damage caused by a hurricane, JBC was contacted to manage the renovation and repair work. Work was required in the corridors and resident rooms, while the facility remained operational. JBC’s team communicated daily with the on-site staff to manage the relocation of residents and resident activities.
