The Daily Record, 20 in Their Twenties | Congratulations, Heather!
The Daily Record’s 20 in Their Twenties honors Maryland’s up-and-comers who in are their 20s. “Selected by a panel of previous award winners, honorees are chosen on the basis of professional accomplishment, civic involvement and impact of achievement. The program celebrates the best and brightest under 30 whose creativity and spirit are already contributing to a new energy in Maryland.” Jeffrey Brown Contracting, LLC (JBC) is excited to share that Heather is a 2016 winner from this program!
The amount of dedication and heart Heather brings to JBC is one of the keys to the company’s success, no matter what role she is fulfilling. She started at JBC as an office assistant before moving into a project coordinator role. Now, she will lead the business development efforts of JBC as Client Relations Manager. Heather says, “I creatively use my psychology background, and in the last three years have developed new systems and procedures for quality control, companywide business development, and efficient information management.”
Heather’s leadership also goes beyond the office. She actively volunteers with several local organizations, including the Junior League of Baltimore, encouraging members to network and build relationships and helping to organize training in salary negotiation, financial growth, and mental and physical wellness, as well as Volunteering Untapped, helping many area nonprofits.
