JBC Celebrates 20 Years
Jeffrey Brown Contracting, LLC is proud to announce the celebration of it’s 20th anniversary. JBC was started by Jeff Brown in September of 1998. Jeff had a vision of managing his own construction company, with the knowledge that it would be a venture filled with challenges along the way. Over the past 20 years, JBC has grown from a one-person company, with Brown bidding, managing and supervising the work, to a company with over thirty dedicated employees. JBC has found its niche as a mid-size company that manages complex projects. The company specializes in healthcare, higher education, biomedical, assisted living and commercial construction, most of which take place in highly sensitive, occupied settings. JBC’s client list includes many of Baltimore’s top institutions and developers- Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, University of Maryland Baltimore, Towson University, Coppin State University, Forest City, JLL, Trammel Crow and many others. JBC’s dedication to excellence with a client-centered approach has facilitated the development of many repeat client relationships over the years and allowed JBC to establish itself as a leader in the industry.
On September 20th JBC invited employees, design partners and clients to celebrate 20 years in business. Nearly 200 gathered at the Frederick Douglass Maritime Museum to reminisce and celebrate the accomplishments of JBC. In a brief speech to attendees, Jeff Brown thanked his committed team, supportive industry partners, dedicated clients, and those who gave a startup a chance 20 years ago.
